Biography
Zoe Vatekeh spent most of her youth participating in plays and dance recitals. The art of theatre, modeling, and dancing is her life.
She modeled with Alpha Model Group in Charlotte, NC and Mone Inc. in Atlanta, GA.
Ms. Vatekeh obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in theatre & Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Savannah State University. Some of her past credits include The Empty Chair, African Madea, Agamemnon, Global Healing, Flight, and worked on multiple productions as an extra. She was cast as the lead in Flight as “Oh Beah” and played lead in the Greek play Agamemnon as “Cassandra “. Also she has been on movie sets as a Stand-In on Central Intelligence, Florida Girls, The Act and recently Councils of Dads. She has been featured in an Enmark and Off Broadway Shoes Commercial as well.
With determination to stay current, Zoe stage managed for the Savannah Community Theatre in Savannah, GA for the play Deathtrap. She experienced how to govern theatre behind the scenes from a different perspective. She also Stage Manage Into the Woods with Asbury Memorial Theatre and Back to the Future with Abeni group.
When she isn’t occupied she does liturgical dances at various churches in the local community. To enhance her stage presence she is currently taking voice lessons. This young lady hardly stops working on her craft at heart. Zoe also volunteers at the local library that helps develops her skills with the youth, as well as adults.
In essence, Ms. Vatekeh loves her craft and wouldn’t give it up for anything in the world.
She recently published her first book, Stand Out While Standing In, to help and educate stand-ins on set.
